1. Reminder.....tomorrow is the LAST day for Module 1 so today you should be wrapping up.

2. Tomorrow (Tuesday)....Be prepared to connect your laptop to the projector and share with our class what you have created in Module 1.

Things to include in your sharing would be:

  • explain what the module was about 
  • projects you have made...so be prepared to pull up your program you used to show your projects, or projects from your Google Drive folder
  • the good, the bad, the ugly...what worked?  what didn't? 
  • what would you do differently next time?
  • advice!  what do you wish you would've known that can help the people about to rotate into the module?
3.  Remember, you receive passing points for your 1)Reflection journal 2)projects created and 3)share-out.

Happy Monday!  You have had a couple of days to get started on your module.
You will have all of this week to work on your first module.
We will have a share out point on Friday of what you have done so far, so be prepared to share to the class.
Don't forget your reflection journal!
I posted your first week grades this weekend, please make sure you are checking your grades.

Hello IM Students!  Happy FRIDAY!

Alice people...see me about an important feature of naming/saving/opening your worlds.
Double check you have SHARED your Google FOLDER (not just the doc) with me.

It has been a busy week for us this week!
You know what to do now so grab your laptop and get started!
(If you forgot your laptop #, check on the roster on my desk)
Don't forget your REFLECTION JOURNAL for today!
I will be checking them this weekend!

Thursday August 20..Welcome!

Welcome to HHS Interactive Media!
Today's Goals:

  • Get Teams
  • Get Modules
  • Get laptops
  • New Seats
  • Create Reflection Folders/Document
  • Review your module 
  • Create logins
  • Start on your module!

1. Create Google Drive Folder and SHARE with me (staci.hansen@usd460.org) and allow me to EDIT.
2. Name your folder:  HourLastFirstIM (No Spaces, Appropriate Capitals)
3. Create a document IN your folder named HourLastFirstIMReflection
4. Every day you will complete a (at least) 4 bulleted item reflection in your folder

  • Use the SAME document every day
  • Place the newest day at the top of the document
  • Use screenshots as you go along so you can place them on your document (Command/Shift/4), resize as needed!
  • Place your logins on this document as needed.
  • I MUST see something from you EVERY day, otherwise you will lose points.
  • If you are absent, write absent for that day so I know not to dock you.
  • Reflection journal points are worth as many points as the projects.
