App Inventor/Web Design:
You should be able to complete all 4 assignments to receive all points.

Assignment #1: Web page Terminology: 

In your own words give me a brief description of the following words:
1. Domain Name
2. DNS
3. URL
4. Web Server
5. Web Browser
6. HTML
7. CSS
8. Javascript
9. What are the 5 different types of websites listed?
10. What are 2 ways websites can track and analyze?

Assignment #2: MIT’s App Inventor: Cat Tutorial
  1. You will follow the basic Hello Purr tutorial in which you make an app that has a photo of a cat that when tapped makes a meow sound.  
  2. Go here and click create apps at the top right 
  3. Sign in with your Google account (if you don’t have one, let me know) 
  4. Follow this tutorial
  5. When you finish, take a screenshot of your entire screen and place in your journal. It may not actually meow on your Chromebook since we are not testing it out on a mobile device. As long as you have the sound on your App in the screenshot, you will receive full credit for your project.
Assignment #3: FluidUI Apps: 
Create an app icon (the icon you click on...the way it looks on your mobile device) using FluidUI.com.
Re-create the ICON displayed on your home screen for an app you like or make up your own app design.
Place a screenshot of what you created into your journal.
Assignment #4: Website Creation with Wix
You will create a webpage about anything of your choosing. 

1. Create a login You will have to sign up for a free account to save your work.
2. Answer the question.
3. Choose a template. I realize there are good templates for you to choose from.  Please make sure you are modifying it to be YOUR website and YOUR work.
4. Edit your site! Make it look good with YOUR information!  Remember to never give out personal information such as address, phone, etc.Remember to never give out personal information such as address, phone, etc.
