1. Go to vexrobotics.com
2. Click on IQ
3. Go to the downloads tab and click on IQ Build Instructions and decide which robot you would like to build.
Depending on which one you choose, you should be able to finish 1-2 robots during this module. You are your partner will be building TOGETHER a remote controlled robot with technical parts. A big part of this grade is teamwork and how well you are working together.
Please make sure all parts are kept track of and the robot is placed on the shelf.

Once you're finished creating your bot, now it's time to test it! You're going to create a series of challenges for your bot, and you should time the challenges to see how fast you can complete them.
1. Create an obstacle course for your bot with the beanbags. Your starting line and finish line should be at least 6 feet apart from each other.
2. Once you've successfully gone through the obstacle course, go through the obstacle course carrying a block.
3. At the start of the obstacle course, pick up the block, carry it to the end, and put it down.
4. Put 5 blocks at the start of the obstacle course, carry each one to the end, and stack the blocks at the finish line.
Each member of your team should take a turn controlling the bot--see how fast you can make your bot successfully complete each challenge!
